► THE ABER COUNTRY - ODDS OF LEGENDS
The ‘Aber Country’, a small area no larger than 30km has kept an amazing wilderness, despite a separation of less than a hundred of kilometers from the capital city. The seaside is punctuated with reefs, peninsulas and abers. These ones are valleys formed thousands of years ago during the glaciary era, a little like fjords in Norway. The seaside offers great white-sand beaches whereas the hinterland is scattered with rivers. The area is a great shelter for numerous species of seabirds. Whatever you are wanted to discover, emotion and passion will always come together to make your stay a moment of relaxation and pleasure. Cultural discoveries (menhirs, church calvaries, religious festivals), sunbathing, windsurfing, kayaking or sailing, as well as birds’observation or fishing will fill your day while your evenings will be spent tasting local food (kig ha farz, sea food) and practising Breton dance (fest-noz). When leaving, you will definitely say : « the ‘pays des abers’ is more than super ! »
